As usual, customs clearance procedure at destination is the most important part we need to look at for any international move. Failure of understanding the other country’s customs regulations could cause huge problem and also additional costs. Customs clearance in Zambia will require the owner of the shipment to provide proper work visa and proof of residence in Zambia. The employer of the shipment owner also needs to provide a letter to customs to certify the employment details.
Besides, the shipment takes quite long to reach Zambia. It is because that the country is a land-locked one, and the shipment would need to travel by sea via Durban, South Africa first.
